Introducing... the Wall of Design
Updated: Dec 21, 2023
A lot of you might have seen this picture on the home section of my blog. Because it's very special, I decided to explain this thing, which I have proudly named the Wall of Design.
The Wall of Design is many of my favorite fashion drawings, which I ripped out of notebooks and taped onto the wall. Although it doesn't show it here, it eventually reached the ceiling! I spent hours making (and hours more taping with no ladder) my drawings. Unfortunately, it fell down and I couldn't get it back up, so I took it down, but I am currently working on new drawings to make the Wall of Design II!
Now that you know about the Wall as a whole, try to find the drawing on the far right side that has a black top and a crazy, super long cape-skirt that's red and black. It's the first on the right, fourth up. Picture it with a black and silver top and skirt. Sound familiar? That's because that's the drawing that inspired the (I like to say iconic) black and silver with tiered skirt outfit. I changed it a bit so it's better for everyday use, but the layering is still the same (the idea for the layering thing goes to Cruella).
Overall, if this was counted as one of my creations it'd be my favorite, and I can't wait for version II!
